What can be treated with Acupuncture
As with many therapeutic interventions, an outcome cannot be guaranteed but, the conditions below have been treated with Acupuncture for many years and there is a great deal of literature to support these treatments.
Women's Disorders
Premenstrual tension, painful, heavy or irregular menstruation, morning sickness, recurrent miscarriage, Endometriosis, Postnatal depression, Hot flushes, Menopausal symptoms, recurrent Cystitis, Infertility, vulval soreness, Vestibulitis.
Musculo-skeletal disorders
Osteo and Rheumatoid Arthritis, lower back pain and Sciatica, Repetitive strain injury and Sports injuries, Stiff and painful necks, shoulders, arms, hips, knees and feet including Plantar Fasciitis, Muscle pain and Fibromyalgia.
Lung and allergic diseases
Asthma, Hay fever, Bronchitis, Sinusitis, allergies, cough, colds, flu and COPD.
Skin diseases
Eczema, Psoriasis, Acne, Shingles, Hives/itching and Dermatitis
Gastro-intestinal disease
Constipation, Diarrhoea, excess wind, Stomach pain and Ulcers, Ulcerative Colitis, IBS, Anorexia.
Cardio-vascular disease
Hypertension, Hypotension, Palpitations, Oedema, Angina and chest pain. (depending on state of Arteries). Heamochromatosis.
Internal diseases
Headaches, Migraines, dizziness, Vertigo, Sleeplessness, Epilepsy, Smoking and Drug addiction, Multiple Sclerosis, Anxiety and panic attacks, Depression, Fatigue and ME, Diabetic symptom, Thyroid disorders and Post Stroke recovery.
Some conditions will not be cured but can be helped such as Multiple Sclerosis, I have done this several times. Also I do enjoy helping people recover from stroke.
